Mr. Jerry Sullivan died at his home on East College Street yesterday at 2:30 p.m. of paralysis. He was born in Kinmare, County Kerry, Ireland, Jan. 6, 1820. he immigrated to this country when a small boy, leaving his parents and for twenty four years has been in the employ of the Vandalia Co. He leaves a wife and four children, grown, John, Jerry Murthy, Nora and Julia. - s

On Monday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, paralysis caused the death of Jerry Sullivan at his home on east College Street.  He had been an employee of the Vandalia railroad company up to the time of his affliction and was an honest, industrious man.  A wife and four children are left to mourn his death. The funeral occurred at 10 o’clock Wednesday morning from St. Bernard’s Catholic church and the remains were laid to rest in Calvary cemetery.- kz
